Nordic Soul Healing offers one-on-one Reiki and hypnotherapy sessions designed to help people relax, restore balance, and reconnect with themselves.
These sessions support emotional wellbeing, stress reduction, improved sleep, and positive mindset changes.

Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing practice that helps the body move into a deeply relaxed and balanced state. The word Reiki loosely translates to “universal life energy,” and the practice is based on the idea that when our energy is flowing freely, we feel healthier, calmer, and more balanced.
During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed while lying comfortably on a treatment table in a quiet and relaxing environment. Light, gentle hand placements are used to support the natural flow of energy through the body.
Many people describe the experience as deeply calming, often feeling warmth, tingling, or a peaceful sense of relaxation during the session. Some people even fall asleep, which is perfectly normal.
Reiki does not force change or interfere with the body. Instead, it supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance and release tension.
People often seek Reiki for support with:

Hypnotherapy is a deeply relaxing and focused process that works with the subconscious mind to help create positive and lasting change.
During a session, you are gently guided into a calm, relaxed state of awareness. This state is often described as similar to the feeling just before falling asleep or when you become completely absorbed in a book or movie.
Contrary to common myths, you remain fully aware and in control the entire time. Hypnotherapy simply helps quiet the busy conscious mind so that the subconscious mind becomes more open to helpful suggestions and new patterns of thinking.
Because many of our habits, emotional responses, and beliefs are stored in the subconscious mind, working at this level can be very powerful.
At Nordic Soul Healing, hypnotherapy sessions focus particularly on supporting:

What to expect for your first reiki session
When you arrive for your Reiki session, you will be welcomed into a calm and peaceful space designed to help you relax and feel comfortable.
We will begin with a short conversation so I can understand how you are feeling and what you would like support with. This usually takes just a few minutes and helps guide the session.
You will then lie comfortably on a treatment table, fully clothed, with blankets available if you would like extra warmth and comfort.
During the session I use gentle hand placements around the body to support the natural flow of energy. Reiki is a very relaxing experience, and many people feel warmth, tingling sensations, or a deep sense of calm during the session. Some people even fall asleep, which is completely normal.
The goal of the session is to help the body move into a deeply relaxed state where it can restore balance and release tension.
After the session we take a few moments to gently return to the room, and you are welcome to share how you felt or ask any questions before leaving.
Most Reiki sessions last around 60 minutes.

What to expect for your first hypnotherapy session
Your first hypnotherapy session begins with a relaxed conversation so I can learn a little more about you and what has brought you in.
We will talk about the areas you would like support with, whether that is anxiety, menopause symptoms, stress, sleep difficulties, or weight loss. This part of the session helps me understand your goals and how I can best support you.
Because of this discussion, the first session is usually a little longer than future sessions and may take around 90 minutes.
Once we have discussed your goals, I will gently guide you into a deeply relaxed state using calming techniques and guided hypnosis.
You remain fully aware and in control throughout the session. Hypnosis simply helps quiet the busy mind so that the subconscious can become more open to positive suggestions and new ways of thinking.
Most people experience a deep sense of relaxation during this part of the session, similar to the feeling just before falling asleep.
At the end of the session you will be gently guided back to full awareness, feeling calm, refreshed, and mentally clearer.
Follow-up sessions are usually around 60 minutes.

About Melanie
My name is Melanie Jane, and helping people has always felt like a natural path for me.
For many years I thought I might study psychology, but the more I explored healing work, the more I realised I was drawn to approaches that support people in a gentler, more holistic way.
I first became interested in hypnotherapy back in 2012 and have spent many years learning about the mind, personal change, and how powerful relaxation and the subconscious can be when it comes to healing and wellbeing. Around the same time I discovered Reiki, and it immediately resonated with me. I loved how calming and restorative it felt, and how it allowed people to relax deeply and reconnect with themselves.
Today, through Nordic Soul Healing, I offer one-on-one Reiki and hypnotherapy sessions in a peaceful space designed to help people slow down, release stress, and restore balance.
My work particularly supports women’s wellbeing, including menopause, anxiety, emotional balance, and weight loss. I believe that when we create the right environment for the mind and body to relax, real and lasting change can happen naturally.
For me, this work isn’t just a job. It’s something that genuinely brings me joy and a strong sense of purpose. Being able to help someone feel calmer, lighter, or more hopeful after a session is incredibly rewarding.
